Obviously, a lot of people have Watchmen on the brain. With the release date looming closer (if Fox’s lawsuit doesn’t screw that up), I thought I’d show you a couple of the previous attempts at adapting the classic graphic novel.
(Obviously, there be spoilers.)
These are actually pretty impressive. We saw an Optimus Prime costume at Dragon*Con, but I don’t think the picture came out (due to a not-so-hot camera), and I don’t think his transformed.
The only thing that would make this better would be the transformation sounds.
Marc Andreyko has confirmed that DC has canceled Manhunter for the third time. Issue #38 will be the last of the current volume.
The series has been saved twice before, so there may be hope. If not, I may have to start buying Birds of Prey to get my fix.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Terrence Howard will not be reprising the role of James Rhodes in Iron Man 2. Marvel had no comment, but word is Howard and Marvel couldn’t agree on a price.
