Video: Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths Trailer
I love the Crime Syndicate. I really really do.
DC’s next animated movie is an amalgamation of the proposed DTV movie Justice League: Worlds Collide (which was intended to bridge the gap between Justice League Unlimited and the previous series) and JLA: Earth 2. It looks good.
And it’s got James Woods.
The preview clip seems OK. I really loved Grant Morrison’s “JLA EARTH 2″ story. I think the producers should have stuck closer to that story. Crisis on 2 Earths seems to have been made more juvenile to appeal to a wider audience. The voice casting of the part of Ultra-Man sounds really off.
Another plot-point that bothers me is: why would Owl-man want to annihilate both universes? That’s completely out of character.

I think you’re right about the attempt at broader appeal. Like I said, this is basically a modified version of an unused JLU episode/DTV movie, which explains the more kid-friendly.
And yeah, I tried to block out the Ultra Man as a Sopranos guest star.
