Thoughts on Marvel’s Heroic Age Teaser

Based on the reactions I’ve seen so far, people seem to think that this hints at the new Avengers lineup. I’m not so sure. The USA Today piece isn’t terribly informative and mostly serves to show off this art and debunk the notion that the upcoming Heroic Age was mandated by the Disney buyout.
Why don’t I think this group is going to be the Avengers? It’s mostly the inclusion of the Thing, Gorilla Man and Beast. While Ben and Hank have been Avengers in the past (and I would love to see the Beast back with the Avengers), the three may serve as representatives of their respective teams.
Other random thoughts:
- Iron Man’s new armor looks cool, but I’m not sure about the color. The bits of gold around the wrists and ankles look weird.
- Clint Barton back as Hawkeye? Yes, please. Does this mean there’s no more Girl-Pretending-To-Be-Hawkeye? Pretty please?
- I really hate that Beast costume.
- I’m okay with Bucky staying in his Cap uniform.
- That gorilla has a big damn gun. Especially for an alleged Avenger.
